This is my daily ride, the billion dollar Commodore baby, it is a V6 calais and after 12 months it has done 35000klms and it rattles, clunks and it is noiser and rougher than the prado, i would rather drive the prado as i do when ever i can.

A man after my own heart ive been into bikes for years dont have one now but had the kwakas for many years. The last bike i had was a duke 998 s limited edition and loved it but turned to 4 wheels now.How does the new bike go and how many kms?When did you give up racing?

Ihad to get my work van serviced this morning and while i was waiting there was a kwaka dealer across the road,so i went in and had a look at your bike. NICE RIDE and i love the lights on the front.The sales guy let me sit on the ZX10 another thing of beauty and offered me a ride.
I declined as i could feel a divorce coming on! :lol: :lol:

Interesting point Hutch.

I have mates who after years of bagging me for having 4wds have bought them ( :roll: ) and can't believe how quiet they are on road.

I think is has to be that body/chassis vehicles are significantly quieter than monocoque due to their innate sound proofing.

A similar-age separate chassis four wheel drive will always have less road noise/clunks than a passenger vehicle anyday.

Used to be (now sold) a 4.7m Allycraft centre console with a Suzuki 75hp 4 stroke, out to the reef and back O/N using 35 litres. Now the Cape tinnie and 15hp Yammie gets a fair work out (as does the missus' Suzuki Swift Z around the round-a-bouts).
