I dont know ,who the hell do you vote for ? I started to lose faith with John Howards "there will be no GST under my government" which was promptly topped with "Of course there will be no carbon tax under my government" how do they get away with blatant LYING like that ??? is it me or should you not forfiet the position simply because your policy was NOT to do that and when you get in just do it anyway ? For sure Gillard has to go but the thought of Abbot running a nation is way too scary for me , fact is we just dont have anyone who is up to the job, we just dont have a leader so who do you vote for ?

Howard did not lie. He changed his mind, and took the GST to the 98 election. So voters were in no doubt.

Julia Gillard's a cold blooded worthless liar and doesn't give a rats who knows it. Tony Abbott gives women and children the creeps and has possessed a piss weak argument against everything Labor has done including the carbon tax. His and the Liberal's entire argument against the carbon tax has completely lacked substance, facts and evidence. So if they ran the country instead god help us.

Little Kevin 07' the tax happy liar is no better than Joolia. I like many others got duped into voting for this good old fair dinkum Aussie who wanted to help "working families." He changed into an entirely different beast after 3 months and started taxing the sh*t out of us with a newly introduced tax every fortnight it seemed. Then he attemtped to force his emissions trading scheme on us and "told" us we wanted it. He also spent next to no time in the country flying around in his heavily polluting jet because he was too busy bum sniffing like a dog around people who are up so high where the air is crisp and abusing his position as PM by using it as a stepping stone to try and land a job as secretary of the UN. Which he also later admitted to a London newspaper was his dream job. Don't admit to us you little prick... We only pay paid his salary and he was supposed to work for us, not vice versa. So you don't want that little man motivated by hidden agendas running the country either.

I think Joe Hockey will challenge for the leadership with Tony Abbott before the next election. Joe Hockey's a very bad liar who gets caught out time and time again on simple morning TV show interviews. He's not leadership material because he's weak, gets caught out lying all the time and backflips more than a platform diver then tries to cover up those lies with more bullsh*t.

I think the days of one federal party leader for Liberal or Labor running the party for an entire term are gone because they don't even care when they get caught lying anymore. The people turn on them, the media turns on them, then their own party turn on them. They're definitetely a class below the rest of us.

My mother used to say the exact same thing all the time and quite frankly I agree. They might work a bit harder for our vote and their ever increasing pay cheque. It'd certainly make them accountable for a change. At the very least they should be imprisoned for committing fraud in order to get the top job by lying and deceiving the Australian public.

Whatever you do, vote for either one of the regular liars (Lab or Libs).... dont sit on the fence and vote those greenies in ever again.

Its all a farce, i hope Kev07 gets back in, causes a massive split and forces them back to the polls. While im against work choices from the Libs, i definately like their stance on other issues.

A good salary linked to Key Performance Indicators and Key Result Indicators. No results = No pay and no ongoing golden benefits.

I really love politics though I dont actually follow any one side.

For those who love politics it doesnt really get any better than this. A party tearing itself apart.

Important time for Labor, probably the most important of the modern era. The sad thing is they have become politically inbred - virtually ALL of the members were union officials or ministerial staffers. I think Kev will lose, resign and a by election will end it for Labor. They will lose in a huge way, 20 to 30 seats, and will have to rebuild getting back to 'real labor values' not 'real labor factions'.
