if ya have to use your tow hitch as recovery, take the tow ball out and put a shackle through the hole, it will work ok, or 4 $50 you can buy a recovery point that fits in the haymen reece part and it also comes with a shackle

Coming home from the sunny coast on Sunday Zo and I decided we might enjoy a quick picnic lunch on Bribie Island's ocean side beach... well it was 2 hours before high tide and we got more entertainment than we had hoped for
When I get around to downloading the few pics I did take on the weekend I'll show you how amusing the beach access point can get when the sand it quite chopped up and people don't know how to drive on sand
Here are a couple from the exit off the beach at Bribie...
Was a very powdery day on the beach but was still no problems if you were aired down to the right pressures.
The line up... there were about 12 cars from memory waiting at one time... by the time I took this shot a couple had gone around them while they aired down.
Spectators from both sides
Was a beautiful day on the beach... I only wished we had gotten there earlier so we could have headed up the beach a little further. As it was it was about 2 hours b4 high tide and the water mark looked like it would easily cut off the beach exit.

When was that Snaga,
I was at Bribie on the weekend and the spectators in the deck chairs were still there.
Sunday 10th August... They might start selling tickets on that dune if it gets too popular

Geez Louise, that photo reminds me of the time when we got the work troopy bogged. The water level was slightly higher and there was definately seepage. My feet were under water resting on the floor.
To cut a long story short we needed a crane to lift us out after trying 4wd, backhoe, 4x4 front end loader, and grader.
