        Nice understatement Grizzly.

Aren't we all thankful that each Prado comes with a pair of sacrificial side steps.

Here is a lost photo from page 1. I hope it does not disappear again.

I was running with my mates in the Applications when we came across this sand pit. I was sent in to test the depth. When I started to slow down I pointed the FJ to the shore to keep from sinking. I ended up at an off angle degree, so to keep from flipping I had Joe hook me up and pull me out.

Here is a YouTube of the rescue from the picture below.

This was some guy following us on the powerline trail Perth and hit the ramp like a bit of a hero with too much speed with too many exposed steering bits and pieces. My 120 made it through no probs but did bend up the ol side steps a bit. Nothin a good jump on didnt fix mind you. Slow and steady wins the race! Go Prado Power!!

Nah not me, thats my mates wife and she was only havin a laugh with him. I took my 120 through there after him and made it fine with a bit of bumpin and bashin. My mate took another attempt and find the inside line and made it fine too.

Ok, let's show you that even in Europe there are still places where one can get stuck...

But let's actually start with Africa: February 2007 in Tunisia, south of Douz

A Landrover had to pull me out :?

Tagliamento River in Italy: Not exactly what I would call a nice feeling, I had to take the drivers seat out and dry the car in the sun for a couple of days. Fortunately the water wasn't too dirty...

And again it was a Landrover that had to pull me out... shame on me...

                    Cheers,

                    Dughall

So...do we have enough photos for a 2008 calendar?
...how are we going to judge which ones?

Anyone got a program to do the job?

                      Cheers

                        Cheers

Not to be a party pooper but some of these images disturb me in that they don't necessarily portray a responsible attitude to 4 wheel driving, particularly if they were taken on public lands. Maybe add a comment as to where and why...

Now where did I put my flak jacket

No Kev, thats a valid point...its all about perception I guess...something we all need to be careful of.

Often a picture tells a thousand words....just not all of them are true!
