It was originally in front of the front wheel.

The pic doesn't show how steep and rutted the trail was and my front wheel had too much traction on that rock.

Getting onto it was easy , getting off need some thought to avoid damage.

At any point in time did you think "I just shouldn't go in there, I don't have a chance?"

I'd hazard a guess that those phrases aren't in the vocabulary of a WA Pradopointer

Hehehehe ..... if that thought had occured a couple of K's earlier we probably would have been stuck in a valley ..... where the way back was worse than the way forward.

Jeff's pic (the first one) is really deceptive ....... he's not stuck
In fact .... he kept driving it all the way to the bottom of the hill .... and led the way for us all to get out. It was a funny pic ... because he dropped into a set of ruts, in a dip, so it looks like he is well and truly buried.

... and in Leachy's defense (the second pic) .... he was the last one to tackle this bit ..... and we didn't make it any easier for him. Those MTZ's work amazingly well ..... but just sheer volume of mud got to them.

That's Wengnut's old car ... that he sold to Sharky (the very same Sharky who was along for the Saturday of our Icy Creek weekender.

Apparently Wengnuts got creative with remodelling his sidesteps    .... so Sharky is running without them until we perfect a set of steel ones.
