Now that brings back memories....mine was a '73 sedan & I put a 200B engine+gearbox in it with a Holley carb. Went very well, I remember cruising up Victoria Rd. Gladesville Bridge early one morning at 80mph in 3rd gear with the tacho (which I bought to replace that silly clock)...off the dial.. But no way could it keep up with my mates SSS...bloody hell that thing was quick :!:

Several years later I bought a paddock basher for the kids to learn in albeit in Station Wagon version..

Not sure if anyone is still trying to keep an average or not, but I suspect that I will only increase it

I'm 50, been married to the most forgiving, wonderful saint for the past 30 years, we call her the Child Bride or She Who Must Be Obeyed (SWMBO) when she is not listening. Two kids who are 25 and 23, and off our hands so we now have a Prado and plan to start going touring some more as we wind down a little

Nothing wrong with being 50. I'll still give those pesky twenty-something year olds a run for their money.

Still got all my hair (mostly dark brown with a bit of grey) and most of my teeth. Dad's 84 with all his hair.

Well just to up the average I'll admit to 63 yrs come January. Married since '69 (always have to check the stats with the missus)
Got a daughter,a journalist living in Paris but was rapt with the Prado on Stockton when she was here last summer.
Also a son 29, who loves offroading. No grand kids yet though (that I know of) The missus can't take the rough stuff so doesn't come.
