We've got a couple of gents who benefit from wisedom and maturity ..... around 65 years worth :lol:

We've got a handfull of kids who've barely witnessed a quarter of a century. :lol: :lol:

We've even got two singles in here .... which is why they can spend more on their Prados. :lol: :lol:


The average Prado owner is 38.37 years of age, has been married 12.41 years and has 1.64 kids.

Our only child thus far is a 2 year old kelpie border collie cross

Lucky for me, my wife loves all the bits and pieces that I have ordered for my prado (May 13 delivery)

Her requirements - must look tough ie must have aggresive tyres, bullbar and large spotlights ! Who am I to argue

well OK kiddies...I'm not afraid to own up that I am 55 and getting older every day!

I didn't realise the Prado was a young persons car....it is so quiet and comfortable it suits old pharts!

I have had a mis-spent youth..... road racing motorcycles.

Most of my early touring was on motorcycles.....which is why I have red dust in my teeth.

Unfortunately or fortunately (because it was an adventure)...a lot of my touring in oz involved many unsealed roads...which I somehow survived but with a few hair-raising tales to tell. When i was a spring chicken.....Highway 1 was a long off dream....and was unsealed from Port hedland to Broome and across to Kunnunurra. The Alice to Port Agusta road was largely unsealed as was the road to Ayers Rock. The Nullarbor was unsealed especially on the SA side.

I still have a stack of bikes but do my touring by car these days.
Bit broke at the moment as i just splurged last year on a trip to gallipoli and the Western Front..and been busy putting some books together on the ANZACs ever since.
