Some druggie prick stole my f$%king new laptop! 10 years of reference papers, 100's of hours in presentations, 8 years of photos etc etc. All to sell it to some slimy second hand dealer for $50 bucks. The time value of lost work is in excess of $100,000. The value of photos of my kids, prado outings, the house renovations, xmas's etc etc is priceless. Thank God guns are illegal because there would be NO hesitation.

I might start selling drugs laced with stricknine (sp) and make the world a better f^%king place.

Bloody day cares are just a germ fest, I've had more time off in the last 5 years of working then I've ever had off in the prior 25 years of working. colds, spewing up, foot and mouth, running to the loo bugs (normally she didn't get there in time, loveeely) colds, ear aches, tummy bugs the list goes on, like everyone with little ones you just deal with it...........Cheers Steve

Would not have it any other way but damn me, this one has it me for six. The first time in my 20+ year working life that I called in sick, usually I would go in and get my team started etc and then head home, not today as I am floored. Same as tomorrow too, last thing I need to pass on to my guys. Nasty... Rant over.

I hear you guys, my eldest got chickenpox from kinder, we discovered it two days after getting back from our Fraser trip. then had to ring everyone to make sure they were right, especially since we visited chewbacca and family after getting off the barge. Youngest son then ended up with as well as myself. I looked like a 13 year old with the worst case of acne ever! Still love the little buggers but sick of their germs!

Office Works have for a 2TB external hard drive for $89. Anyone that isn't backing up should pop down there and get one. Loosing your laptop is too painful to not spend a few minutes a week to back it up.

I usually backup when my life in not chaotic from living out of boxes for 16 months while a 9 montnb renovation takes place.... That's right, there has been a slight over-run on the estimated completion time...
