  • Almost ready for shipping

I had the truck professionally cleaned today, getting ready for shipping it to Australia on Wednesday.

    Check this out...

This was the engine after being out a few weeks back:

    And after the valet

I am very happy with the result.

Nice looking car but I bet the cops don't let you leave the tinting on the rear windows. I wish we were allowed to have it that dark.

Given he said it's being shipped to Australia I'm guessing it's to fumigate it.

It is antibacterial fog to get rid of odours, germs and bugs.

We land in Brisbane where I have a camper trailer waiting. The plan is to explore for 12 months and then settle down where we liked the most. We are very excited about coming over!

I hadn't even thought that the tinting might be a problem...

              Sounds like a great plan

Can't really tell from the photo's but it looks like the tinting is only the rear side windows so shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah the tinting is only an issue on 'viewing windows' from the drivers aspect. So back doors, tailgate, and rear sides can be as dark as you want.
                    Cheers, Josh
Ps looks good mate, and welcome

Looking at the video, when the rear door is opened, it looks just as black to me (had my eye check a week ago!), as the rear passenger doors.
I'd love tint that dark on my (passenger) windows, but at least in Victoria, I'm pretty sure the 'funstoppers' will have an issue with it or maybe we just live near strict 'funstoppers'??
