i got the missus a ghd hair straightener which she ordered on ebay and i forgot to mention the open sky awning for the prado i also got her. but i mentioned she might want a waeco for our campin trip and she said !@#$%^&, ive been tryin go get one for about 12months. its a bit of a sore pointhad an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.Comment

You know me .. I'm the type of guy who really likes to spoil a gal.
For her birthday I got Bek a couple of equaliser straps, a snatch block, and ARB Ezy Deflator and a recharge kit for the K&N air filter.
Our 20th Wedding anniversary is coming up and ... apart from the fact that I would have been paroled 7 years ago if I had commited murder ... I thought an Safari Snorkel would be a great special pressie.
That leaves xmas. I was thinking ... with the huge gifts already this month ... that I might get her some decent bash plates .. to help protect her undercarriage ... and perhaps some new side steps. The one on my side is still perfect but the one on her side is a bit manky. Maybe she just doesn't treat it nicely :lol:
Have you ever heard of a gal as spoilt as this ? :lol:

fortunately like some others in tis thread my wife loves the outdoors and a bit of adventure so xmas was easy...
we are sharing our xmas pressies this year with a complete and comprehensive full camp set up right up to the kitchen sink..
with my work in the mining industry in new giunea i 2 weeks on 2 off so we have heaps of time to escape and tropical north( gods own) there are heaps of great spots..

Well, i doubt she will like it all that much but i am keen on spending the better part of $500 on getting the UHF sorted for the car. Somehow i dont think that will wash as a pressie for her on Christmas Day.

Obviously, the UHF setup is a piece of safety equipment, which you would be doing ONLY to keep her safe.
Naturally, you will also need a 5W handheld to go with that...
