Now what i could offer in return for your bridge is maybe use of a credit card, that has redeemable value at any brothel near you or better still a free weekend at our waterside residence that just happens to be located underneath another bridge here in Sydney with great views over to some silly white building where they always have concerts and shows, but the only catch to that is you would need to come and stay before mid september as we will be moving out around that time .If you prefer you could stay at our other place a mansion located in a bit of a country town about 3hrs south, but again before september.
If labour to help move the bridge is required i can organise some cheap labour , as one of the misses friends has an organisation where he can organise this help, the only condition is that they will need somewhere to dock their boat before organising their work permits, but i guess that won't be a problem at your end as i assume it is a bridge that crosses the water.
Look forward to hearing from you ta Tim
        Dear Tim

I don't want to labor any point, but does your ride have lowered ear lobes and a massive sway bar hung low in the rear? Just asking.......

Also I would consider offering terms but can you and she offer security of employment in these uncertain times?

They come pre-fittted with steel rails. Smart bars are for Nannas so tuffin up princess.

You can mount pretty fireworks displays and fireworks are like colourful temporary spotties so no need to tuffin up on this option.

            Mlc - I like fireworks

I built a bridge once to go over the head waters of my dam. Had to span about 12m. Picked up some surplus to requirements I beam from work and welded it all together. Welded on cross pieces and bracing on the bottom flange. Then decided it would look better as an arched bridge like you see in Japanese gardens. So armed with the advice from a couple of our boilermakers I set about heat shrinking the bottom flange. Marked every 400mm with chalk then heated the centre where the web met to cherry and quenched the flange with water. Side by side for the full 14m length of the bridge. Bit rough but sure enough achieved a nice curve. To this day I still can't work out why the shrinking caused the bridge to camber the WRONG way. So the bottom became the top. Ah well no one could tell once it was in.

MLC I hope your bridges are built better than this. And can we get anti hippo whistles fitted to the steel handrails please?

I will check with my South African supplier. I have heard they are 100% successful in Australia.

I am interested in hearing more about this bridge. Could it double as a pier of sorts? My wife tells me I need to obtain a short jetty, upon which I am to take a long walk.

Would you be interested in a trade for a crate of pre-dug holes?

Now this is sure to get MLC to trade.

Just think how much time this crate of pre-dug holes would have saved him on the Border Track

Does your bridge come with large piles of dirt and rocks to drive over? If so I wish to purchase one, I will put it up right along side the
new concrete bypass being built here in Cairns. Then I can use my Prado to commute to work offroad whilst laughing at all the poor people in their soft-roaders still stuck in traffic.
Payment will be to the order of 1x well used doghouse.

                          PS- Dog not included.
PPS- Also '4wd only' stickers for the bridge.
PPPS- Can you paint it Green?
97' Prado VX Grande Emerald/Silver, 3.4L, auto, Bilstein shocks/ Dobinsons coils 2'' lift, breathers on everything, snorkel, Maxxis Bighorns. Coming before Summer, Uniden uhf, spotties and with luck a winch bar.

There should be a draw bridge across every access road from WA into SA and NT so we can decide who comes into our state.
