Next time PP goes down I expect the back up to kick in!!

I spent the weekend worried it was all over and wondering were to turn next. Thank God it's back.

Hey guys nd girls, I am not sure who you are using for your DNS but I have started to use OpenDNS as my DNS server provider. They are free and the best part I like about them is that in the case of a website going down the error message will actually tell you where the fault lies. If you want to try this service then the link is http://www.opendns.com/

The IP addresses for their DNS servers are:

      208.67.222.222
      208.67.220.220

All you need to do is substitute the above addresses in your modems DNS entry windows to start to use this service.
Roll on the 2010 Pradopoint GTG
      Pradopoint GTG website:

I had started preparing the story that Today Tonight or some other current affair show would surely want to broadcast.

I scanned news and google for some clue as to why PP had disappeared. I sent an email to our PradoPoint domain administrator, and it bounced with DNS errors... oh no... someone is trying to shut us down, I thought.

        This was newsworthy stuff!!

            PradoPoint was down?

            Where's the "Didn't notice - I've got a life" poll option?

                  Now THAT'S funny !!!!!

Saturday I worked all day. Sunday I mowed and took crud to the tip and returned my mates trailer to him, and watched him demolish a brick wall in his lounge room, and then drank his beer.

I did a small unimportant thing on the weekend - I graduated from university! Saturday was taken up with the ceremony, wearing the Harry Potter robes, walking on stage accepting the testamur, doffing the arch-chancellor, and hoping like hell that I didn't fall down the stairs in my heels! All followed by dinner and drinks with family and friends. Sunday was spent at Xmas BBQ and my Grandfather's 86th birthday party (a raging affair that one!), followed by working in the yard until sunset.

In between all that i did notice the forum was down though!
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses...Hit it!"

I browsed the Ron Jeremy site.

Just kidding... I was hoping that all the hard work by all at pradopoint.com wasn't wasted and that the server downtime was just a minor hiccup.

Sometimes, you just don't realise what a special place this is - free of all the crap that reside on other forums. Visiting this site is the next best thing to owning a Prado! 8)

PP has been down for me as well.

Just came back on line now.
2008 Diesel Prado with extra stuff added. I drive it on the road and other places too.
