    Hi

I'm new here :-) just upgraded to paid membership to get tapatalk, but when I log in via tapatalk I get told the plug in on pradopoint is outdated and that I should inform admin..

Welcome. This may be the 'warm and fuzzy' feeling plug-in... I'm not sure this is fully working yet. Hope admin can help.

Tapatalk did an upgrade recently that results in this message being displayed. Just click OK and it should all work for you. I get this message every time I log in but it doesn't appear to affect use.

Yeah, I ignored it - as I thought the admin's need to update the API for the site...

Does anyone use Tapatalk 2? I bought it and it seams less user friendly that Tapatalk 1 so I'm using 1.

I'm also unimpressed with the Tapatalk upgrade, It's rubbish!

I dunno, I'm the opposite - I like the new interface. But that just might be my IT background showing...

I use Tapatalk 4 on my Galaxy S3 and it runs well. Even has its own photo editor when uploading photos.

Well looks like a few people are happy with 2 so it must just be me not liking change, must be an age thing.
                        1) No, it is PP Admin thing - I don't know the specifics, as I don't do development/web or database - I am your IT "all rounder", though I prefer to do networking and server admin, rather than desktop support (even by my modesty, I am good at it!).

                        2) Yeah, I kinda get that - change/rewrite just for the sake of it is usually not a good out come. But there are lots of forums that use this, so I am suspecting a larger audience has influenced the changes.

Further to the API message that came up every time I started Tapatalk (a pain but didn't stop it working) I got a different message the last time I upgraded that said something along the lines of Tapatalk does not support the version used by Pradopoint. Since then when I log in I can see the state of messages on 30/9/13 but they don't change and if I select a message it just goes to a blank page. The same happens if I select the forum - I can select a form title but if I select the title I once again get a blank screen.

I have checked other fora and they work fine - it's just Pradopoint that has this problem. Anyone else have this issue?

Well I never normally use Tapatalk as I don't like it, but I just updated the app and logged on to post this, seems to work OK.

                              I still hate it though!

                              Cheers Andrew
