I thought I would start a thread to talk about the direction that PP is heading in, as there seems to be a few people that are unhappy with the current direction.
MLC has made a big statement and a lot of people have opinions on this but these opinions are spread across many threads with very little sensible objective discussion. I would like to discuss these differing opinions and see if we can nut things out and hopefully do something about it before PP implodes from an all out civil war.
I invite everyone to participate and tell it like it is and don't hold back.
Please have your say but please do not assume that your opinion is fact and try to respect other peoples opinions even if you strongly disagree with them.
What is PP?
What do you like about it and what to see more of?
What do you dislike about and want to see less of?
Do we need to update the rules and if so do you have any suggestions?

Ok my starter for 10.
These are my opinions only.
I think Prado Point is primarily a place for Prado Owners to discuss Prado technical issues, modifications, accessories, driving techniques, trips and get togethers.
I think the secondary function is to have a place where like minded people can form relationships and have a little fun, kick back and unwind.
MLC - I agree that his departure will be a loss and I hope that he will calm down and realise that he may have acted irrationally and not be so stubborn to allow his pride to keep him away.
Lots of people have the opinion that the "KLC Click" was the final straw and the main reason he left. My opinion is that he did not like our "Little Click" and he started a "P Word thread" to gather support to bring it down and reintroduce his "Little Click" and when it didn't work out for him, he childishly picked up his bat and ball and called it stumps. As I said these are my opinions which are just my opinions and your opinions are just your opinions and I don't see the point of discussing it further. If anyone really is good friends with MLC I would encourage them to give him a ring and ask him to come back and talk for himself and not talk for him.
Many people dislike me personally and also dislike the KLC for changing the face of PP in a "negative way".
Seriously guys "if my inbox is anything to go by" there are also a lot of people that like whats going on and it is not very different from threads such as the "what happens in bungalow stays in bungalow" and "the legion of mlc is true" and the "KLC" is arguably a copy of the model started by MLC himself "4W Driving First Party" yes the KLC antics spilled into threads of a serious nature which was dealt with by the mod team and agreements were made to control this and for the most part those agreements have been honoured. Please don't get me wrong I like MLC and his antics, I have lost count of how many times he has entered a thread, high jacked it, taken it in a different direction and injected his light hearted humour and left people arguing the off topic interjection, I have been in stitched many time reading his antics. The only difference I can see between what he did and what KLC members did was that he was part of the "VIC/ SA GTG Mafia Click" and he can do no wrong in the eyes of this group.
This is a very big forum with a diverse cross section of members and is structured such that every thread is named to give a good indication of the content so if you want to look at suspension lifts or catch can installation you can easily search and satisfy your needs and there is always someone available to help direct you if you are having trouble finding what you need. There are also threads such as "SWMBO...God Bless em. Possums...God bless their souls." I understand that this would not appeal to some members and as such probably advisable to not enter. What I struggle understanding is why people would go in read the thread, not like it and then start up a thread with a similar name and proceed to discuss said thread and try to gather support to bring it down, which encourages other members to enter the thread knowing they will not like it, which encourages more people to enter and then discuss there dislike of the thread, resulting in the discussion spilling out into other threads and then blaming KLC members for joining their discussions. This is in my opinion ridiculous self-perpetuating behaviour that is fuelling the very behaviour these people are proclaiming want to eliminate.
It is my belief that the mod that made the agreements with the KLC to contain the shenanigans to the aforementioned thread did so to appease the very people that are doing their upmost to covertly encourage the KLC to brake the agreements.
As I have said before; I know a lot of people don't like me personally as I can be silly, argumentative and have opinions that they disagree with. I also know that many of you will disagree with my opinions in this post and will give me negative feedback as a result, that's fine, just do it if it makes you fell better but please participate and discuss your opinions in this thread too so we can get it all out in the open and try to have a positive outcome as I think there is room for everyone on this forum regardless of their differing opinions.
