my wife rang them and calmly explained what had happened,( i think she was worried she drove off with the hose still attached!)., they were very good about it and took full responsibility, i have filled my cars at the same garage every week for 10 years so probably around 50k of fuel and they always give good service. i was pretty grumpy at first , as i had only done 1 tank since getting new injectors, but feel better now that is has been checked and was pretty clean.

I have just learnt that driving my little Ford Ka parts runner is much like riding a fat chick. They're both fun to ride but you don't want to tell your mates about it.

Never again will I tell my mate "it's not that bad, it gets me around town... I don't mind driving" were the final words before the hours of later that ensued.

Come on now - you can't just single out Commodores - "P"rofessional drivers in any vehicle can cause involuntary responses in even the calmest drivers!

I have found "P"rofessional drivers in **cough nissans cough** can be pretty bad as well. Especially the ones with 8 foot lift kits and 9" exhaust pipes

Having said that, I thought I was a pretty good driver back in the "P" days - A big tree vs my old 1986 2.4 non turbo Hilux while stepping the back out around corners on a dirt road fixed that.
