I've learnt that this place is NOT like a soap opera....You can't be away for a week or so and just pick up on what's been going on. MY GOD the poo poo has really hit the fan here over the past week or so hasn't it.

Today I've learnt just how entertaining it can be when 'trying' to paint a cattlepit, with the help of a 2yo and a 5yo.
It went surprisingly well, and I am forever grateful for paint that can really be washed out in water.

Today I learnt that kids pets and crossing the Simpson don't go together. Less than three weeks till I depart for the Simpson and I get a vet bill for a sick cat. $1300 that was savings for the trip is no longer in the bank........ Grrrrrrrr
