I've learnt that you can't make a woman love you.
Best you can do is to stalk her and hope she panics and gives in.

I've learnt you can still vomit long after your stomach is empty.

I've learnt why they lock petrol station restrooms. They're afraid someone will clean them

I've learnt my dog doesn't like brussel sprouts either.

My 10 week old can sh!t from the change table to a distance of around 3m by the time it hits the floor. Given the right conditions I think she could do better.

What this lesson has taught me

                        1. Never stand downstream when the safety is off
                        2. It's only funny for me when SWMBO comes downstairs decorated in baby poo
                        3. Cleaning baby poo out of the carpet at 3am is not funny

As any parent would know (except for my younger brother) you haven't lived until you have had the trifecta: pooh, wee and spew at the same time over your shoulder and down your shirt whilst holding the little blighter.

I learnt that when the heavy, sharp metal sprocket falls off your garage door motor (the one up nice and high that turns the chain) that thongs are not, repeat NOT suitable work boots.
