  • Re: Spotted a PP in your travels

I see a charcoal Prado around the Belair/Blackwood area every few weeks, with a sticker on the bottom of the rear window, lifted, lights and ARB (i think) roof rack.

Followed it on the way to a job in Belair a few weeks ago, somewhere around Gum Grove i think it was. I was driving our Prado for once, and i'm sure the female driver thought i was nuts.

Also followed it down Old Belair Road once or twice, while driving my work van. Neither time i thought it would be good for my health (or that of other road users) to whip out the phone and try and get a pic.

I'm not sure who it was, dont think it was 'sapradogxl'........dont think he has a sticker yet although he lives up this way i believe
.....could be 'nickchap' or 'Yorkes' maybe, i think they both live in the area. We are in Coromandel Valley BTW.

Sorry folks, no photo as I was on foot and no camera
Saw the PP sticker on the rear glass, top and centre.
The Plates were a dead give away on the White 120series.
GDS,.... could I also assume you may have attended the same wedding ceremony I did at St Mary's Church.

      Cheers
Confirmed, that was I. Mrs GDS and I were attending Jack and Jill's Wedding.

Would have responded earlier but have been away camping at Woody Head and Yamba.

I thought you may have been attending the same wedding. We only attended the ceremony that afternoon.
The Mrs and I are mutual friends of both of them. Have known them for years through dancing, especially Jill.
If only I could put a face to your name,... then I could have said hello.
          Oh well maybe next time.

              Stewy - I was the one in the suit! :P :P :P

Hutch - Yamba is a great town, our stay was great except the weather was a bit damp. Stayed at the Blue Dolphin caravan park for 4 nights, great spot right on the Clarance. Before that we had 3 nights at Woody Head National Park just outside Iluka, this is a top NP with facilities I have never seen in QLD national parks.

Spotted a Charcoal 120 this morning at 7:55 heading south along Sir Lewis Cohan Drive (extension of Morphett Street) in the South Parklands towards Greenhill Road. Had an ARB Bullbar with driving lights, ARB style roof rack with an awning on the left hand side, something on the right (pipe maybe) and a nice and clear PradoPoint sticker in the bottom left and corner of the rear window.

Didn't grab a snap at all since by the time the rig flew past I couldn't get the shittiy phone camera out in time.

Nice looking rig but a little too clean Need some good old South Australian dust over it.
