  • Re: Spotted a PP in your travels

Driving home from work on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon heading north along West Terrace near CMI and I spotted a white or silver 120 for an electrical company/contractor called Zap Me. Had custom number plates a little like MUMSRIG in the bright pink. I did take a photo but by the time the crap camera took the crap photo the car had head off into the distance. Was sporting a steel rear bar (not sure if this as a Kaymar or different) with rear wheel carrier and some aggresive looking ATs. Anyone else seen this or know if this is a member? Didn't see a PP sticker but that's not uncommon.

Just got back today from 5 days down at sunny Narooma staying at the Big 4 just on the south side of town. There must have been at least a dozen Prados, mixture of 90's, 120's & 150's. There was a real good kitted silver 120 but not one of these rigs had a sticker. Also passed at least 70 Prados (no bullshit) on the road with alot fitting the PP image and again not one sticker that I could see

I had a similar experience recently on the south coast based at Tuross Head - lots of Prados but no stickers. I'm always surprised when I see a Pradopoint sticker.

Well, Iv'e finally spotted a fellow pradopoint ( Oh well the car anyway) we were down Kiama for the day 9/1/09 and decided to stay late for the jazz festival in the park . We parked up a laneway ( no name) and I spotted a very well kited out D4D

Oh well i can give the neck a bit of a rest now that I have finally spotted one.

I believe we do (I do) but newish members or less active ones may not know this - maybe it should be in a sticky...or maybe it is :?: :?:

Saw a silver coloured 120 the other day about 4:30pm on seventeen mile rocks road brissie, tuesday or wednesday i think. My second sighting of a pradopointer in the wild after a long time looking. My first was a gold coloured 120 about six weeks ago on the centenary highway i did get a photo but put it in the too hard basket to post so didnt worry.

How do you blur out the number plates in a photo it was taken on my phone?

Most of my stuff goes through photoshop so I do it there but that's really overkill.
I believe Photobucket or other image hosting sites have a simple editor which allows you to simply swirl a particular section of an image.

If you use photobucket once you upload the photo, go into edit image, then click on decorate, and in their you choose eraser and just rub out what you don't want.
To post your photo, click and copy "direct link under photo in photo bucket, click "IMG" in your post and copy in link, you need to copy link between the two "IMG" symbols for it to display.

Just spotted switched as he drove past on Park Way, Tech Park, Mawson Lakes. Gave him a high beam, he then saw me and waved back.

It was bound to happen sooner or later  I only thought to pull over when turning right at that T junction, but you must have headed left.
