Same here is Sydney IP. I do a fair bit of driving at all different times in daylight hours and check out just about every Prado I see.

I'm very excited...(worryingly so in fact ) I just saw my first Pradopointer on the road.

This morning (Fri 20th Feb) at 9:30 coming off the M2 at the Delhi Road exit and heading towards Epping Road...I was queued up to turn left onto Delhi Road in 'the other car'.

Silver with a snork, silver disk spare wheel cover and roof bars on (that's all I managed to make out). PP sticker in the bottom left of rear screen.

I need to get my sticker sorted...need one for the camper also

I too look at just about every Prado in case...often I see one approaching with ARB bars, muddies, forest of aerials etc and I expectantly look at the rear and no sign of a PP sticker...now what's that all about ! :x

I also picked up the kids from school yesterday and the car park was chock full of Prados - no kidding, mainly Petrol Grande's with no extra bits on them apart from the occasional blingy alloys

...and also yesterday as I picked up the littlest one from kindy I parked near one of those overseas spec Prados - with the Spare wheel under the rear instead of on the door - badged a VX and in Dune...I took a photo of it on my phone http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp13 ... age119.jpg

I was reading this in excitement as my wife uses that same exit and this morning it would have been around that time but alas ours is white.

they are a bit scarce in Brisbane!
So, in order to promote the forum, we have to tag each and every Prado we come across

AS well as the stickers, which obviously cost someone to produce, is there a card (say business size) that we could use to tag cars with - ie pop it under the windscreen wipers? These can be produced cheaply and easily, a design created, uploaded to the forum somewhere, with say 8 to an A4 page, then anyone who wants to utilise the resource can just print them out and start tagging?

I believe this may be totally illegal and probably not positive for the public image of the forum even if it's not :?

A couple of the motorcycle forums that I am on do it successfully. Bikes are tagged at events such as the Superbikes, PI MotoGP, track days, as well as just generally being out and about and parking where there are other bikes around. Also, they are great if you just get chatting to someone and just happen to mention the forum, give them a tag so that they can get along to it in their own time. There is nothing illegal about it, providing you aren't defacing the car/bike.

I think I spotted Wandy1977 on the end of the Eastern Freeway (city bound) on Thursday. Nice grey rig with a Pradopoint sticker.

A good thing about the bikes is that 90% of them would be enthusiasts and 10% as a means of transport however in the Prado I reckon you would have 20% enthusiasts (and most of them would be here already) and 80% shopping trolleys.

Yeah sorry don't know what happened to my message.

What I wrote was my missus would have been at that exit around that time and I thought it was her you spotted until I read it was grey

I think that hits the nail on the head...Your average Prado driver (probably more even than 80% judging from the numbers sold each month) would have no particular affinity with either his/her vehicle or it's design brief and so would look upon the cards as unwanted spam - which is a shame...

I have often thought about a flyer with the amount of Prado's I see around here, but I figured I would check with a mod before I went any further.

Spotted Chippy again this morning, but as I have already snapped him I figured I wouldn't take the photo, oh and I did not want to advertise which drive through he was using for breakfast
