      Beer

Saw the word beer and just knew I had to read this thread!

This is my two bob worth...
If you enjoy it and you are not hurting anybody else its ok. If it impacts upon other people maybe you have a problem.

Personally I dont drink much, but when I do I find it hard to stop. That's my makeup 100% or nothing! ops:

At the moment I'm enjoying Pure Blonde and Wild Turkey

Being a born and bred SA Boy, I have to go with the greatest amber drop in the world, Coopers Pale Ale. And Coopers Sparkling Ale on special occasions. It kicks like a mule and almost 8%. Unfortunately when camping, it's whatever I can get in a can. Easier for travelling.

Hey Samo, I reckon I may have reached "problem" status.

It all got a bit much for me yesterday so I threw my camping gear and 2 dogs in the Prado and went bush for the night.

It wasn't the beer so much as the Bundaberg Rum that caused the dramas. Feeling a bit sheepy today........

But the Prado and I are back home again in one piece... :P

One of these days I'll hold a Pradopoint trip out this way...Lots of great camping areas literally minutes out of town.

Yep love the midweek trip. Last night it was just me, my 2 dogs and mother nature - with no one within earshot. I've got a similar trip planned next Tuesday if anyone wants to join me? Got a mate coming up from Sydney - gonna check out The Lost City near Lithgow....

I used to be a bit of a red fan, but now that I work in the malt industry it has given me a greater appreciation for the art of brewing. I tend to focus on the following beers, and probably in the following order:
                                • James Squires Amber Ale[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Boags Wizard Smiths[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Asahi Super Dry[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Kirrin (anything Kirrin is usually good)[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Coopers Vintage[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Coopers Sparkling[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Coopers Pale[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • Teds Platinum[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]
                                • ...[/*:m:1jsm7tbv]

I'm also happy to say that the malt the company I work for makes supplies all of the above and none of that Fosters rubbish
