Rounded up most of the clan and headed over to my dad's place for lunch. He's 91 and signed himself out of hospital on Friday to spend probably his last father's day - he has just been diagnosed with stomach cancer to go with his asbestosis in his lungs. He can't eat solid food so, whilst we pigged out, he sucked on a nutrient drink. None of us would be here without fathers. Happy father's day.

Sad to hear about your father Dave. Here's hoping he goes peacefully and painlessly when the time comes. 91 is a good age to reach.

I told him he can't go until we get back from Tassie! He's planning a huge GTG for the family, friends and selected neighbours. Wants a spit-roast.

Had a great day and just chill axing listening to music. Came across this classic to keep us all focussed on what matters. Hope everyone had a great day. http://youtu.be/7OqwKfgLaeA

According to the news 80% of fathers would like to be stay-at-home dads, although less than 20% actually take on the role. I never even gave it a thought when my kids were young.

My lovely little boys made up cool cards at school. And I also got some short breads in old fashion collector type tin with A9x and GT falcons on the front which i thought were pretty cool. Then spent the day with our dads which was great.

Happy Fathers Day again to all!
What a great day... Started off with bacon and eggs in bed then got some new fishing lures...Noice!
Then we went out for a 4wding day to Julimar state forest finding some great bog holes, hill climbs and a campfire at lunch.
Finishing off with a roast dinner and hand made cheese cake.
Yep what a great day should be more of em
                    Cheers Gaz
