  • Unfunded Competition: SWMBO-WTF

Ok, so the idea came when reading another thread, but lets run a no prize competition. Obviously the winner will be the one that is sympathised with (laughed at) the most.

To enter you need to tell us about the wifey's reaction to Prado bits in her zone aka the house. Referring to some examples already on Prado Point, this would include Mags in the dishwasher, painted bits drying inside, stripped pieces laid out on the kitchen table, bits soaking in petrol in the laundry, or just about anything that will cause the missus to go feral on a non(male) justified basis.

Pictures are a preferred!!! but we understand it is almost impossible to catch the reaction and defend off flying objects aimed at your crotch.

    Post away.

Ok, I'll jump in. Is was before I had the prado, it was parts of my 80 series cruiser.

At our old house I had no where undercover to work, and no where to leave stuff where my two dogs wouldn't get to it. I also didn't have anything big enough to to soak the swivel housings in, so into the kitchen I ventured. Found two big plastic containers with lids and thought perfect. Dropped all the left parts in one, all the right in the other and filled them up with fuel from the mower jerry can. Then cause I didn't want my lab to chew it up, I took them inside and put them on the kitchen table. I then cleaned up, packed up and went for a shower. To cut a long story short, Tupperware isn't rated to contain petrol, unleaded dissolves the plastic, then leaks all over the table. Unleaded also takes varnish off pine timber. She came home to find me cleaning up a petrol mess inside the house, a ruined dining table and two big ruined Tupperware containers. At least my swivel housings were nice and clean

That made me laugh. I can only imagine how long it took you to get the petrol smell out of the house. There really is nothing like mixing food preparation areas with home mechanic jobs!:-P

This is pretty clean by my standards. Normally can't see the floor as it's covered in car parts and camping gear all the time. The room is normally a no go zone.
Luckily swmbo has another tv to watch.
And yes that's a new drawer I picked up today 😂

Shame on You!!! That drawer system and Fridge needs to be setup in a much better location (beside the reclining armchair with the fride fully stocked with beer and crisps etc in the drawer system ).

Especially with the cricket and Tennis season upon us...

Cooking steel brackets on the stove top for the supercharger. It was completed in stealth but apparently posting a photo of our dirty stove top on the www isn't desirable, oh well, here it is again!!
