Wow my missus just informed me that she will unfortunately be away for Valentine's Day . I'm just soooooooooooo disappointed. Well that's another $60 plus dollars to spend at the booza . Any other suggestions .

Me and the missus don't do Valentine's Day (me mostly). It's just another consumerist hallmark card day IMO where we are forced to spend money and appear happy. It's sad to go out and see all these couples trying to have a good time yet they sit there not talking and looking quite miserable. People hould show each other affection all year around. A bunch of roses, a card, and an overpriced meal once a year doesnt cut it. No doubt Instagram and Facebook will be filled full of filtered pictures trying to prove how wonderful everyone's realtionship is.
