TC Weather - Coffs Coast and further North?

We currently have two cyclones bearing down. While there is a lot of attention on these two events right now, I'm always reminded of what happens after the initial landfall with the resulting tropical depression. With TC Marcia now at Cat 5 and forecast to track south after landfall, it appears there will be a lot of water falling from the sky, most likely in areas that have only recently been through flood events.

For those in these areas, (Brisbane to Coffs) are there preparations already underway or is it still a watch and wait scenario?

Watch and wait. We have had some local roads already cut with flood water but that is what happens when you live amongst the sticks. Will get worse.
