Nice all that money building that house to the value advertised and no money to buy a camera to take photos of it

Believe it or not, but this was the randomly assigned general registration number issued to my unmarked police vehicle:

March 2009 at the Anna Bay entrance at Stockton Beach, the club convoy was airing down and a 1950s Willy Jeep thingy rolls in. Immaculately restored unit straight out of the Korean conflict zone. Mum in the back seat of the soft top and baby on lap...baby does what babies do and vomits over mums lap and back of the driver seat...good thing they build them tough hey!...no they didn't end up taking baby on lap out to the dunes (they turned around and left for some reason...maybe the threat of rust?!!)

At days end, watched how urbanites in a $100K plus Audi Q7 belly out their '4wd' as the tide is rising on the hard packed sand (don't ask me how...). Friends in their 120 series with snatch strap in hand but no recovery points on either vehicle, no knowledge anyway, and sand all over the immaculate Q7 paint job. $300 (whatever they were worth) set of max trax saves the day and all our trucks $ value balance out the cost of his one Q7 I'd say. He was one relieved bloke...couldn't thanks us enough...we just told him to stay close to us in case it happended again and that 18 inch wheels/rubber band tyres are for shop front windows. But that Audi was one very well built unit I must say but the clearance and suspension travel of an F1.

Oh..yes one more funny (this is a great forum!)...sort of,

I had a friend of mine follow me in his Great Wall of China wagon up and down some popular low range country in the Brindabellas Ranges about 8 weeks ago....stock GWC wagon and the owner was nervous at times, but that retched thing on road tyres followed me all the way. If they can be lifted and have bigger tyres put on, they will be the next new supercheap 4wd to get (I s'pose they already are).

Maybe this is not so funny but rather sad!!!!....not sure. I was wearing my pride armour that day...next time we'll do it in the rain and find some real rocks and put some bush stripes on it!!!!

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Hutch- you might end up banished for saying that..I wonder whether the OVLOV community would agree with the mods or whether that was the trial version for the xc 70....
