Actually passed a cayenne going up duck creek rd to oreillys today which I thought was quite amusing considering I was slippen and slidin down in lowrange in a few places after all the rain we've had here the last few days. Wasn't till the run back up that I really had a good laugh though. Had to pull over and let a grey nomad and his wife carefully pick their way around a washout and some ruts in their bright yellow Hyundai Getz. Had to ask myself why did I buy a 4wd again....lol

Apparently, they tried all the locals and no-one was available/interested. In the end, a recovery team came up from Perth hence the $400 fee.
