    Well, if a bit of deduction can find Mt Palmer, Koonalda etc etc...I reckon even a quick bit of Googling will tell someone the name of the one and only beach camping area in the region of the Daintree.

    It isn't Newell.....that is a fair way South.

    It is National parks camping area.

                          Well, not very subtle......have a Captain Cook. Bit wet ehh??

                          Looks like Cooktown on a bad day......has a top bakery there...great pies, good museum as well. Great views from the lookout.

                          Nice feel Cooktown, only place on the East Coast that I found that approached the character and feel of a Kimberley town.
