I've been away so not able to post but here you go:

This was an unreal trip. Loved it.

A Poojero had crapped out one of his rear diff trying this. All six vehicles in our group including two Prados (ours plus a non lifted Grande) made it to the top without dramas but I might need to look at some more armour underneath.

I want the name of the place AND the track name.

Wow. No responses. I know there are quite a few from the forum who have been here and posted about it.

A clue to the place. You will find the Bill and Betsy here. Bill did spend a bit of time with us. He was quite good company but he didn't say much :wink: Still need the name of the place and the track.

More clues later if needed but I couldn't get me wife to take any more photos during the trip up until we reach the top. She said it was too bumpy but I think she was just scared 8)

You havn't named the place and the track name isn't quite right either. Keeping Googling 8) altough I was never able to find a map of this places tracks on Google altough I did find a faily ordinary handdrawn PDF map on a 4wd Club site in their previous trips area.

If it helps there was a segment on Post Cards SA a few weeks back...

That was a day time shot. It was just overcast. No way in hell I would go up that track in the dark :shock:
At work at the moment so the shots I have are very limited. I know I have more at home so I'll see what I've got and post from the top if I can.

Heres me inspecting any damage that occured:

The crappy flimsy plate over either the sump or diff was a bit distorted. Might spend some cash later in the year on a piece of Brown Davis armour to protect throughout.
