    It was well over 10 years ago when I was there, but I'm pretty sure I'm right??
    Sorry but much further north.

    Clue:

    It's along the Overland Telegraph Line.

      Don't remember seeing those specific graves there - but it's a large area and the mounds look familiar.

          Mick, it's not Kanyaka ruins is it? I think that was what it was called.. All I remember was the flies!!

                  Ok then it's the cemetry at the Peake Telegragh Station and according to Mick, and the photos' it's in the hills. Now I've never been there so I won't take the next round (also I'm out of snaps) so Mitch have a go!

                                I think your on the money photoprado. Bit of a grim story to the camp ground near the aquaduct. Seems a bloke died in his tent overnight and no one noticed until someone camped there on their return trip several weeks later and noticed his tent and gear untouched since they were last there.

                                Last time I stopped there was to try and wake myself up after a poor nights sleep out in the goldfields. You can catch marron in the dam and the aquaduct itself was restored by the national trust a few years ago. I havent actually seen these gates though, might have to have a closer look next time.
