Well, not quite sure, but it looks like around Walpole to Denmark area. I think I have been there

    Perhaps Mandalay Beach?

In 1911, the vessel Mandalay left Delgoa Bay in Africa, bound for Albany, Western Australia. Whilst off the south coast of WA, a strong gale swept her ashore. The captain managed to steer the vessel clear of Chatham Island, but then was confronted by Long Point. When he realised he couldn't safely round the point, the captain decided to beach the Mandalay in the cove.

This cove is now called Mandalay Beach.

Beyond the car park and overlooking the beach is a monument telling the story of the Mandalay and what happened when her crew managed to struggle ashore. Even though they had just undergone a shipwreck, their adventures had only just begun!

Mandaly Beach is on the west side of Walpole but yep it is Mandaly -I thought this my have been a tad difficult - Well spotted and your turn Daz

This looks very familiar - but just can't pick it.

Could it be the old Kellerberrin pub (before it burnt down)? But that was before digital photographs

Looks like I've got a lot of guessing comming up.

Rainman, you got it. Looks like you stopped for lunch in the same little park we did.

Yep, Cue is an interesting old town for sure, in the heart of the Murchison.
Cue won the Tidy town comp a couple of years back, and it looks like the locals are proud of it.

Many buildings been restored, but the pub hasnt been done yet by looks of it

                  Over to you Rainman

My pictures are getting more and more obscure so this one could be difficult. To make it easier its in the WA goldfields and has a bit of history attached to it. You could almost say a clue can be found in the foreground. This picture is a few years old - pre Prado.

Thought this one may be tough, too many clues and I might give it away :?

Heres a Google Earth image of the same location. It has a couple of names associated with it, one for the water hole and the other for the rocks around it. The water hole has a connection to a nearby grave.

Thought the clues may give it away. Deadmans Soak is off the Pianto Road north of Goongarrie. Phil Mack is buried there after being hit over the head with a small axe by an aboriginal in 1896? His mate tried to get him to Goongarrie for medical attention but he died just past Nineteen Mile Rock and is buried not far from the soak.

Here is a picture of his grave. From memory the grave has been maintained by the goldfields historical society. The plaque attached to the grave is a replica of the original.
