I could not quite decide which beach it was either Hyams or Vincentia. I thought it Point Perpendicular in the back ground.

It's not in Bothwell, Tasmania is it? Think the course there is known as being one of the oldest in Australia.

I googled and found Bothwell but couldn't see that Statue. Where abouts is it? Found some pictures that showed some golfers wearing the same garb as the fella in the statue. Made me laugh a little when I saw them.

I was down there in March this year the statue did look reasonably new, it is on the edge of the Ratho property near the golf course on the road out past the lakes that goes to Deloraine

Bothwell is approx 75 km's north of Hobart. It's on the Lake Highway which goes over Great Lake. Good alternative to the Midland Highway. A nice drive with a great pub for lunch at Miena. The golf course is quite a site if I recall. Greens are fenced off so the sheep that keep the fairways mowed can't get on the greens.

Thought it would be an easy one.

Anyway to keep it moving, it's in Victoria. Pub in a town part of beautiful area recovering after last years tragic fires.
