It looks familiar countryside from a trip when I was a kid, but I cant remember names & places. :?

It looks familiar, but I cant name it. I think I remember it from a trip we did to Millstream, Fortescue River area in early 80s as a kid. Went swimming in plenty of water holes like this.

There were some gorges we saw on Fortescue, and having recently been back to Karijini, I dont think its in that area.

So its on the Hamersley Iron Ore railway road somewhere? Never been on that road and racking my brains dont think I've been to that pool but been to Milstream and Python Pool.

Yeah, and its a bit embarrasing, yet curious for some of us Sandgropers who have been through the Pilbara many times, yet havent stumbled on this one yet.
Im still thinking its on the Fortescue, but could yet be proven wrong.

Getting close Spara. Its certainly been a while.

They have just recruited Train Drivers for the Jetty Train, and I see some flyers in the local newspaper about planning for the re-opening.
