Sorry Not Gosse Bluff, and probably 2-3 days drive from Chambers, not in the NT. A couple more photos one closer and one further away.

I seem to have you all stumped, I cant give you any photos of anything nearby as there is nothin' nearby except for saltbush and the odd scrubby tree.

Anyone care to guess a state????????

I have no idea after going thru 142 pages of posts over the past week. My guess is Flinders Ranges somewhere. :roll:

Some of the pics on previous posts have been removed or can't be accessed but that didn't deter me. Have found some AWESOME places to visit. Problem is I didn't write them down. So I will go through again and write them down. Best to have some idea fo what to see when in the vicinity

Will have my own Prado soon and can't wait to get out and about. Have recognised some photos from touring in an old Valiant in 1987 :twisted: and more recently in a Mazda 3. Have now got the 4wd and camping bug (actually it was already there) and plan on getting out there while I am young ... ish :mrgreen:

Would have to comment that the WA PPers seem to monopolise this thread. So come on PPers from other states, start posting something!!!!

going through the entire 142 pages, now thats dedication for you. There certainly are plenty of great spots to visit.

Its not in the Flinders Ranges, although you could say its on the outskirts off them i suppose. I was actually on my way to the Flinders (from Loxton) when i took the shot. We were heading for Willow Springs and Skytrek to be exact.

Oh and one more clue, its not a "Mount something" its a "something rock" like Ayres Rock only a little less well known obviously.

Well i thought it would be a tough one, too tough it seems. I will assume by the lack of even an educated (or googled) guess that no one knows this one!

Well it is Oratan Rock, if you were to drive pretty much due North from Morgan heading towards Yunta along the station tracks you would find Oratan Rock. To access the rock you need the permission of the property owners as it is off the road a bit on private property.

I'll give you another one, easy if you have been here as it is quite distinct and almost impossible to visit this place without seeing it!
