Andrew I just saw the SA location. A lot closer than Brisbane.
That looks like an old copper smelter stack in the Flinders Rangers area.

I have been here a couple of times, these pics were taken checking out possible routes for the GTG, unfortunately a stop here is NOT going to be in the itenary. Waukaringa is about 30kms North of Yunta heading towards Arkaroola for those interested.

I have heaps of pics from our Tassie trip, unfortunately they are all pre digital; so I can't post them. I guess anyone who wants a shot can jump in, otherwise I will trawl through and see and if I can find something a bit harder.
