Yes they were trying to sell it when I was last there a couple of years ago Bushy. The meals were spot on, and cold beer.

Correct. Over to you. My late father in law served on the Sydney as a stoker. He survived the sinking (you thought all hands went down with the ship) well, he was on shore leave and travelled to Kalgoorlie to see his fiance. Leave was cancelled and he returned by train only to miss the boat. He later served on corvettes off the NT/Qld coast chasing Japanese submarines and patrol boats following the bombing of Darwin.
