This is probably a total giveaway for the water hole If you know where this is, I'm wondering if you've seen the lookout I posted.

Hello everyone,
I haven't had a lot of coverage lately - we left Sydney 2 weeks ago for our 4-5 month trip up to the Gulf country. Currently in Cunnamulla after doing the Darling River Run up from Wilcannia. Sorry, didn't notice the PM.
I have no idea where the water tank is.

Yes was down that way exploring a couple of years ago for a weekend. Former Prado owner Samo gave me the directions this this magic little spot that he used to go camping many years ago. We drove in and there was a camp setup next the camp with their weeks work of meat that had been hunted hanging up. Would've liked to have spent a couple of days exploring the area but most of the tracks are closed during the winter.

The track where the other pic is taken is Carter's Fire Trail (aka Carter's Track). Highly recommended. When you come back out of the Watergauge Track, turn left and follow the fire trail as it ascends, then descends down to Tomalla Rd. It's absolutely breathtaking and a lot of fun Be warned, there's a fair chance of pinstriping as you ascend. At Tomalla Rd, we turned left and headed to Pheasant Rd back to Barrington Tops Forest Rd. Another picturesque country drive
