I lived next to that dam for a very long time and tried to throw stones and hit a dead gum tree that was out in the water just below that photo. Its Aroona Dam, made from 2 creeks Emu and Windy coming together further up from this photo. All ex Leigh Creekers know this place

Lived there and was lucky to call it my backyard. Used to finish work and within 30 minutes be either on the South Alligator, East Alligator or Yellow Waters catching barramundi... Miss the NT.
