Ok heres a thread that might take off. Post a photo of your rig or a camp spot with your tent of camper set up that is in Australia somewhere. Dont say where it is and see if other forum uses spots it. The guy who gets the right answer has the next oppurtunity to post an unknown photo and so on. To get the ball rolling I pick an easy one-

Good spotting......so what do you suggest? .......start a new thread for people who do want to "spot the spot" or just keep going. With the number of views and replies it isn't exactly in the doldrums.
Maybe it was the original suggestion that hasn't taken off and the thread has evolved. To me it is just board life.....threads have their own life and evolve as posters progress.....boards are really democratic and not real good things for control.
Fortunately I find that there are heaps of threads and you don't have to look at the ones you don't like.
I find this thread really makes you think...and they say that is good therapy as you grow old...keeps the neurons firing!
ps. the original idea was a good one...but I guess not everyone takes pics of their cars and tents all of the time. It is still OK to do so....just part of the game.

more clues.....as WA spots may be obscure to some...
this lonely grave is along the old coach road from the mystery gold rush town (which is no more) and the town in the second pic (which is still going) is near by.

I like the way it has evolved, just a shame i cannot pick any places correctly and when i do see something I know someone beats me to the answer, but thats life !! I am enjoying it anyway

here is the rig at the mystery location.....with the chief bottle-washer....IMHO it demonstrates why the thread went the way it did.....pics of campsites give precious few clues about the location or show why you would even go there in the first place....anyway...this site is so overgrown it was hard to even turn the camper around...
There are sites of old gold rush townsites in the scrub around this spot everywhere but they were hard to spot. hard to believe a town stood here once.
ps. spara there is a real good clue in one of the previous pics!!!
