Rainman,

Ninghan Station it is. Photos are actually of Warrdagga Rock. Salt Lake in the distance is Lake Moore.

We have camped here many times around the wildflower season - generally the longweekend at end September. Truly spectacular if the rains have been kind.

Have travelled the station tracks to get to Paynes Find a number of times to watch the AFL Grand Final.

Over 500 ,000 acres of property to play in. Drive upto Mount Singleton is an experience as well.

An experience well worth exploring.

The first three words of the last sentence on the sign is why we don't/can't go there. We just camp in the bush north of there - around Field's Find.

If it is what I think it is.....it is a great spot and a grand adventure too....though I needed something better than a flashlight to explore much deeper......a really amazing spot.....

My suggestion is Cocklebiddy Cave on the Nullarbor.

yup

did you go down far? I went a few hundred feet but it was getting awful dark.......the cave is huge and goes for 6 kms I believe, most of it underwater......

As one of the photos shows, I always take the furkid( as someone refered to) along to Ninghan. I simply asked the Bells(owners) and they OK'd it. Just keep them in the car at the homestead as all there dogs are around.

Oh I'll miss going there this year. Looks like snow on the mountain tonight here in Hobart!!

Hobart and tassie is a beautiful spot and snow on the mountain would be great.
