well

80 mile beach is a nice spot to relax for a while.....and it is so photogenic....when the tide goes out the light effects are great...I have a series of photos that are just stunning if i say so myself. During the day the beach is like george St with all the 4wds!

Stayed there for a couple of easters and yes it was packed not a camp space left.

The second time a storm hit on Good Friday night at about 930pm torrential rain and 100kph winds. We were lucky in a camper trailer I had pegged everything down much to the amusement of some of my sister inlaw.(even when out and brought new sand pegs for the job)
Their tent blew down and they slept in the car. Park was empty by lunch time Saturday, bins full of tents, broken tables, & chairs. Pity fantastic weather after that.

Very interesting pic......what grabs my attention is how a large area of sedimentary rock has been forced up vertical and twisted and deformed and then eroded down fairly flat and than a thick band of reddish sediment has been laid on top of it.......possibly some glacial deposits there as well.........history laid out before our eyes!

As to where it is....IHAFC? beats me.

thought the 1980 Cub Kamparoo parked next to an Ultimate made a cute comaprison pic. Not too sure about progress really.

No not Menzies...over the border......they sell god awful pies and aboriginal art from the local community there.
