I would have guessed :shock: Majors Creek. A tiny little historic goldmining town near Canberra.
Also home to the Elrington Hotel (1913) and the beginning of a beautiful dirt road which winds down into the Araluen Valley.

A Google search on Carlyon Murray tells me that she died at the ripe old age of 11 years and 8 mths .... on the 16th November 1924 ....
.... and she was buried at a site called Depot Glen in Milparinka.
James Poole is also buried there. He was assistant to Captain Charles Sturt 1844-1846. He suffered from scurvy and died while leading a return party to Adelaide. He was buried at this site 17th July 1845.
