Magic spot at sunset - one of the 'Got to do' things when in Kununurra. Probably a bit better when you can wade out and have a fish.

Not really a flood - but high flow yes.

Thought this might have gone a bit longer with so many of the WA people out on a 'trip' today.

If it is Coppins Gap then that a real stretch from the Albany hint (yes I do know about the Gap in Albany).

Kalgan Pool Gorge it is. Check out page 24 of Western 4WDriver Explore the Pilbara book and you'll see a very similar picture to mine. Nice place, but the flies were a bit of a nuisance.

My daughter had fun on a length of rope hanging from the tree on the right, but eventually she ran out of momentum and was left hanging about 5 feet above the water. It took some doing to rescue her without getting her wet.

An old map I had said there was a track from Kalgan Pool that would eventually lead us past Eagle Rock Pool but we found that it petered out into a swamp so gave it a miss.

There are loads of rock pools around the town of Newman.
