Mmmmm, maybe I have underestimated the number of people who have been out this way. And if they have been here, maybe they have missed seeing the Aboriginal artwork in the area.
OK, this clue should do it. The Aboriginal artwork is in this.
So, anyone know where this is? The name of the landmark will suffice
The old homestead reminds me of the one you can stop in at near the Fortescue River on the road from Wittenon to Roebourne. Can't recall the name of the place that I'mn thinking of but went there about 17-18 years back.
Yeah it does look a bit like the area around Kings Canyon, but i think it was previously stated it was in WA. Ive not been there but Mt Augustus would have been my guess as well.
Cheers Andrew

A good wild guess JV, so over to you
The aboriginal artwork at at the base of Mt Augustus in WA. There are a couple of spots where it is easily accessed by foot, and is very much unspoilt.
Mt Augustus is 360Km of dirt road from Minilya, 450Km from Carnarvon, or 350km from Meekatharra.

Or about 1km from nowhere.
Yep, pretty harsh country...........
On the way there we passed 2 vehicles, and on way back passed 3, of which 1 was on side of road with flat tyre.
I stopped and helped the old couple, who were Bible Bashers doing the rounds of the Stations and Communities.
