  • If that's the result, I'd hate to see the accident that caused it...
    Looks like a 4WD, a truck, a car, a motorcycle and a bicycle were all involved! :shock:
    I hope that isn't a body in that striped shirt and it also looks like alcohol was a contributing factor :roll:

            No it isn't exactly... but I think your guess is close enough. This photo comes from the Mereenie Loop road. Another classic sight from this area is this is makeshift sign warning of a crest ahead:

            The sign on the other side says "puttem back down".

                        I'm sure that there is more than one. But the photo of the one I was referring to is located on the Meerinie Loop road.

                          • Going through all our photos but cant be sure. The only name I can remember is Stockton beach, and if Anna bay is further up, that means one mile beach is after that.
                            The rest of the places in the area is a memory blur. Signs of getting old. :shock:

                              Stockton Beach is correct! I thought the shipwreck of the Signa in the second photo would be a giveaway.
