  • Sydney Storms?

I'm sure you've seen it. Its all over the news every 5 minutes & I've just spent the morning digging drainage trenches around my house and removing water from the neighbour's front room with a bucket.

What I want to know is any of you in NT/Tropical North looking at all this and thinking: What's the fuss about, its just like a normal start to the wet season?

Any weather that is unusual or you aren't prepared for is difficult.

Hope everyone gets through ok, too much damage and too many injuries and lost lives already.

It shows what a big country this is, 20 odd degrees, fine and sunny with not a breath of wind here.

Looks pretty ordinary over East from what has been on the news.

      Cheers Andrew

When Toowoomba, the Brisbane Valley, Ipswich and Brisbane etc flooded a couple of years ago the weather had already changed and the worst flooding in Brisbane was a bright sunny day.

Lots of silly, and in one case unfortunate, people driving into the flood waters.
