I am at Noosa North Shore and spoke to some people affected by it. Pretty scary and some lost caravans and 4WDs unfortunately.

We're due to go back there next month. I don't mind Inskip as you only need to pay your camping fees and not for any particular site and it's so big with plenty of space to choose from and no beach driving permits needed. Might have to rethink our plans.[SIZE=1]Cheers Jim.

geo tech was saying it was to do with offshore sand sliding away and therefore the sand on top eventually goes, kinda like when you play at the bottom of a sand dune, and it slides away from the bottom and then sand at the top slides with it. reverse avalanche in theory.
