          I'm not sure how the user list works. You could have a browser window open for days, but I think it's session based, so after a certain period of inactivity you drop off the list :?:

          Another forum had a huge spike of users online, however many of the users were automated processes trawling the web for search engines. Perhaps that's how PP ended up with a record of 97 :?:

            I think if you're not "active" for a while then you drop off the list. Like if you type out a reply for a few minutes then you disappear. I notice a message there saying "active users in the last 5 mins" ???????? I think if you open up a few threads you'll go back on it as you're "active" again.

                        She even gets to access the net in her own office ... so she doesn't mess with my train of thought. :lol:



                        ...... but the other thing is .... the counter only registers users active in the last 5 mins ...... so how many guys were busy but logged in anyway to do the right thing ... and were doin' something else at the deadline ... 5 mins is up ....their name drops off .... and we don't make the record :cry: :cry:
