If my workplace didn't have leave embargoes at all the popular times I'd be doing the same thing. Only working part time though I have to wait for it to build up as I only get pro-rata. I took 6.5 weeks off late last year but that was 5 years worth of leave I'd managed to save up.Comment

Don't get public holidays so won't work for me. But I usually have 6 - 10 weeks off per year by taking a combination of annual leave and long service leave. Last year I took 14 weeks.Dave
