Great job Chippy and Bek. Hope no damage was done to your car by the live powerline. It is things like this that make me glad that Chris has a 4wd that is not very fast.

Wow, Chippy & Bek, Hard to stay composed when you come accross something like that, well done, Legends. As the dad of 4, it is things like this I wish I could show to my teenagers....... They are good kids but need reminding how vunerable they are.

Chippy and Bek... sounds like you did an amazing thing to help this young girl. You should be very proud of your actions - the crash scene was very dangerous yet your actions no doubt help ensure that no one else got hurt.

It is a credit to Bek that the emergency services had confidence in her abilities to keep the girl calm and help at scene. I am glad that there is a relatively good ending to this story. I have seen way too many crashes where there weren't. Young bodies torn to shreds and absolutely distraught family and friends screaming in complete anguish at their loss aren't memories you easily forget.

Personally I believe that all learners should be given a tax payer funded defensive driving course. It may go some way to help them have the skills to get out of a hairy predicament. I know my fathers advice to my wife stuck in her head when she was forced off the dam wall road around Grahamstown Reservoir not long after we were married, it saved her from ending up being seriously injured or killed that day.

The fact that Toyota wont sell me a clip for my bonnet protector. They want me to purchase the complete bonnet protector kit!!

Push bike riders who decide they want to play with the traffic on narrow bridges and roads when there is a perfect flat bitumened and specific bike lane out of the traffic, designed by them and for them.

1- Runners who run on the road instead of the footpath !!

2- Not being able to have a drink in any of the gold coast pubs for the next month because the schoolies think they own the place and if you aren't 18 you're a toolie mentality :roll:

3- Getting pulled over for scatching my head because the copper thought I was talking on my phone. Then after proving I wasn't by showing no call activity on my phone log and the car has bluetooth that works, instead of a sorry mate just doing my job, the copper says - there is not enough evidence to fine you or to take it to court so I'll let you go this time :roll:.

1. Partner losing his job just before christmas.

2. Refer to #1 causing us to also have to cancel plans to do a road trip up to QLD over Christmas as we now wont have the money. :cry:

3. Getting all excited because you find out your house is worth alot more then what you thought, so you try take advantage of that by trying to refinance and dump all the personal loans onto the house, and then the bank stuffs up the valuation and says the house is worth alot less then you paid so you cant get a cent. :shock:

4. Having to rip the absolute shreads thru the bank to get another valuation. :evil:

5. Having to start back at #1 because everything seems to want to go wrong at the same time. :cry:

I hate d!ckheads thatcome up the outside lane, when traffic is banked up cause it goes back from 2 to 1 lane. Chances are its the d!ckhead that you already overtook cause they were holding everone up.
